The "Open Torrent Wizard" dialog is just too power hungry. The labels are confusing too.

File -> New Torrent should be File -> Create Torrent File -> Open Torrent File actually allows you to open a single torrent, from a folder full of torrents, from a URL...

There should be separate options from the File -> Open submenu.

• Open Torrent File
• Open Torrent from URL

(and so on)

Differences from the UT open torrent dialog (which is different since it opens up one at a time)

Save path for multiple torrents includes the "save name" of the torrent itself when it is a multi file torrent. Azureus doesn't offer the ability to change it.

"Label" can be set for torrent - we don't provide the option to set the "Category".

Azureus has "Dest. Name" column for each file - which is nice, but only if you are actually retargeting it - if you aren't, then that column is mostly useless. Though our filename column is just the filename, whereas it is the relative file path (from the torrent root) for uTorrent.

uTorrent has "start torrent" option, and "skip hash check" option. Azureus has "queued", "stopped, "seeding" and "forced start" options.

uTorrent has an "Add to top of queue" menu option, whereas we have a drop down "Queue position" menu option which just has two options (first and last).

Size of the torrent is mention in uTorrent dialog as well as free space. Not mentioned at all in our dialog.

Features which we should allow to be added:

• Option to add a comment.
• Option to select a category?

File selection is handled differently too - uTorrent has Select All and Select None buttons, and for right click - has "Select" and "Deselect" (for selected items) and "Select All / Deselect All". Azureus has something similar - a button for highlighting all items, and options for marking and unmarking the items.

I think the terminology between "selecting" and "marking" isn't clear enough. We have a right click menu for changing the file location, but it doesn't have any of the select / unselect stuff that we want.

General thoughts:

• Perhaps have an alternative dialog, more focused for a "single" torrent.
• Files section should perhaps only be displayed on demand.
• Rather than displaying a table of all the torrents (where the torrent name column is too small), and maybe have a drop down to switch betweeen torrents.
• Break some of the pages up into a wizard style. Perhaps the second section would contain file checking / retargeting, and would only be displayed if a checkbox was ticked on the first page.
